The design brief for the new offices of an advertising firm included two floors of a building and half of the lobby that were to house many employees in many divisions working in changing formations. We decided to use the ‘creative’ division as the heart and inspiration for our design. Design guidelines: Locating all offices on the perimeter of the floors thus allowing natural light; The WORM – the generating design element that contains the public functions; The CAPSULE – Dynamic public space; Vertical link between the floors creates meeting spaces; Versatile office spaces; Lobby – vertical garden and reflection pool; Sustainable architecture.
